A Dedicated Imbecile
The Potato Head Man with missing parts
He has a distorted one-eye mind
An attached mustache and a clown’s nose
A dedicated imbecile for the cause
He holds dear to what he’s taught
Dogmas, ideology, and ignorance sought
The bigotry of his foolish parents
The so-called wisdom of his forefathers
His chin, stiff and inflexible
Clings to canons, notions, and credos
That blinds his common sense
That numbs in narrow-mindedness
He deceives himself with worn-out clichés
Lost his ear in a game of chance
He refuses to accept ideas other than his own
Worships traditions out of loyalty and fear
Forbidden to love what’s different or unclear
Never changes even when urgency warns
A backward soul whose parts are missing
A plastic man whose eyes, ears, and hair are gone.
