he’s going to be
riding in the backseat
of our car
drinking a milkshake
and eating a cheap burger
giving us directions
on where to turn
where to live
how to think
and how to raise our children
If we’re not careful
we will be under
his thumb
like a witch doctor
who sticks pins
in our body
if we don’t vote for him
The fake Floridian
with the Sunkist tan
will feed his face
with our groceries
and spend all our money
He’ll remove us
from our homes
and haul us off to a work camp
if we don’t…
