…rovide continuity, a sense that my life story has a thread that weaves from childhood to adulthood. By re-visiting the places that led to good memories, I can reconnect with my childhood sense of wonder, triggered by the sound of water lapping along the shoreline or the sight of steam rising from the lake in the morning. It is a complete sensory experience that I can feel in my bones.
