Change for the better

I am
a glass of water
three-thirds full
crystal clear
with positive words
that float
across my mind
heart and belly
and along the surface
of my consciousness

I am the words
that form
a strong intention
and can change
my outlook
my health
spirit
and mood

I am the words
the world needs
to overcome
its negativity
and make
the dark thoughts
disappear,
and the frozen hate
dissolve
and the divisions
come together
blessed
in unity

My soul speaks
in silent
mantras
pleasant whispers
and heavenly
prayers
creating space
for happiness…
