I've let a piece go for almost two months, thinking the editor was busy dealing with life issues.

I’m currently waiting for a piece to be published that has been in a queue for 8 days and counting, so I know how frustrating it can be. I will pull the piece after it’s been in the queue for 2 weeks, if not published, and offer it elsewhere.
